At the beginning of December, Democritus University Thracian and the Department of Social Work,are organizing a workshop on "Disability, Gender and Equality" in cooperation with EIF and DOSYP.
Among the speakers were the Paralympic Semiha Rizaoglou and the vice-president of the Perpato Association Spyros Dadanides.
The two discussed the discrimination of disabled women and the ways in which this problem can be solved.
The conference was attended by representatives of the disability movement from Drama and Volos, as well as scientists.
