Successfully was completed the three-day escape of the Association "PERPATO" in Lake Kerkini, which took place from 20 to 22 November 2015. A total of 11 people took part in the action, of which 6 people with various motobility impairments and 5 participants – attendants.
The participants, during the action, took part in a number of activities, starting on Friday with a visit to the Therapeutic Riding Center of Serres.
At KETHIS they were welcomed by the head of the center Ms. Maria Liga and her associates, who made sure to become acquainted with therapeutic riding and its benefits to disabled people, to ride the specially trained horses of the Center and then to guide them in its premises.
The rest of the days of the action the participants were at Lake Kerkini, where they stayed in the premises of the guesthouse "Ecoperiigitis" and with the support of Mr. Ioannis Reklos and his associates followed a series of actions, such as canoeing in the lake, bird watching in the wetland, Jeeping in the part of the lake where there was no water and observation of wild buffaloes, archery, routes using a handbike in the lake, training in the use of a wheelchair.
