In the first episode of the #Solomon Unreported podcast series, we explored the extent to which the Greek state is prepared to protect people with disabilities in the event of a natural disaster. The investigation revealed that many municipalities across the country remain unprepared, while some disability organisations are trying to fill this gap in protection.
Five months after the publication of the episode “Who Has Access to Safety?”, Solomon returns to one of the communities featured in the podcast. In collaboration with the “Perpato” Association, a collective listening session of the episode will be followed by an open discussion.
The event will take place on Friday, September 18, at 6:00 p.m. at the Komotini Municipal Library.
Participants will listen together to the 22-minute episode and then discuss the issues raised with:

The discussion will be moderated by Ilida Panagiotidou, Journalist, Solomon.
A Q&A session and an open discussion with the audience will follow.
The event will include interpretation in Greek Sign Language and audio description.
